Department of Physics is one of the energetic department at Government Arts and Science College, Kovilpatti. Recognizing the ever growing demand for Physics education and cater to the felt needs of the local area, Government has started the B.Sc., programme in the year of 2019 with 48 students for English medium. The department upholds the tradition of importing excellent education, provides stimulating environment for an overall development of the students. There is a blend of theoretical and practical exposure to the students through seminars and Guest lectures. The department has well-established and well-equipped laboratories for UG and allied courses. Department so encourages students to participate in University level competition, inter-collegiate sports and cultural events to explore their talents and skills. Excellence in teaching is the hallmark of our department.
