The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2013 to offer B.Sc. (Computer Science) to impart quality computer education to students in and around Kovilpatti. The department flourished in 2017 by introducing the PG programme M.Sc.(Computer Science) to provide in-depth knowledge in evolving computer technologies. The department prides in having a stable, qualified, experienced and committed set of faculty members to develop the students and mentor them. The department also has well-equipped computer lab with required softwares installed. The department ensures that program objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored through periodical test, assignments, seminars etc.

To educate students to learn, share and apply the technical knowledge and skills in Computer Science for their upliftment and to evolve students to be effective and ethical problem-solvers for the well-being of the society.
